Maruti Suzuki Alto

Maruti Alto comes with an innovative design and supreme performance. Alto is available in Standard, LX and Lxi variants for both petrol and CNG models including BS III and BS IV. All variants are equipped with a potent 796cc 3-cylinder engine generating 46 bhp and 62 Nm of torque. Comfortable and functional interiors with ample head room, molded carpets, an electronic trip meter, glove box, and front door pockets are the hallmark of the Alto.

Alto is a fuel efficient car, mileage being 19.73 km per litre. The performance of this car is magnificent. It has 32 bit on board computer for dynamic computerized fuel injection. It has low turning radius for effortless turning and parking ie. for easy maneuvering throughout the city. The intelligent drive assists power steering. It also features multiflow cooling AC (with heater).

Alto is equipped with 796 cc 4 valve 3 cylinder FC engine that churns out a power of 47.6 bhp @ 6200 rpm and a maximum torque of 62 Nm @3000 rpm. The Maruti Suzuki Alto features McPherson Strut with torsion type roll control device for the front suspension and coil spring gas-filled shock absorbers with three link rigid axle and isolated trailing arms for the rear. It can seat five persons. The wheelbase is 2360 mm and the ground clearance is 160 mm.

The Maruti Suzuki Alto is available in the following variants Alto, Alto LX and Alto LXi.   All the variants are BS-IV compliant. The Maruti Suzuki Alto is available in an array of six colours which comprises of Blue Blaze, Fire Brick Red, Ecru Beige, Midnight Black, Superior White and Silky Silver.

 


Hyundai Santro Xing

The New Santro Xing is a sporty hatchback with good handling and a spacious interior that makes it a good family car. It comes in 16 variants including Metallic and non metallic : XK Non AC, GL, GLS, GL LPG, GLS LPG, XK Non AC CNG, GL CNG and GLS CNG.Both the petrol and LPG variants comes with a 1.1-liter In-line 4 engine that delivers sufficient power of 62 bhp, in addition to giving a great mileage. A CNG kit is available with all petrol variants. The interiors are well done with adequate space for the driver and the front passenger.

 


Tata Nano 2012

The cheapest car of the world, Nano has stamped a distinctive position for the Indian car industry in the global automotive map. The 2012 Tata Nano is available in six variants. Nano is powered by a 2-cylinder, 624 cc, multi-point fuel-injection petrol engine which is mounted at the rear of the car and delivers 37.5 bhp. The 2012 Tata Nano has 21 percent more interior space than the Maruti 800.Safety features include central locking, crumple zones, intrusion-resistant doors, and seat belts.

 


Maruti Suzuki New Swift

Maruti Suzuki, India's number one automobile manufacturer, had come up with its first car "Maruti 800" in 1983. Since then, the company has produced several cars. Owing to its durability, longevity and reliability, Maruti Suzuki occupies a noteworthy position in the Indian car market. The Maruti Swift is one of the most popular premium hatchbacks in the Indian market which was rolled-out in the country in year 2005. With the launch of Swift hatchback, Maruti marked its debut in the premium hatchback segment. So far, the car has been receiving an overwhelming response from the Indian buyers and more than 5,00,000 units of this car have already been sold in the country. In 2011, Maruti Suzuki brought in the revamped and face-lifted model of the popular Swift and in the process phased out the production of the old Swift.  

The New Maruti Suzuki Swift is equipped with a choice of two engines petrol and diesel. The advanced K-Series 1.2 L DOHC petrol engine churns out a maximum power of 83.8 bhp@6000 rpm and a maximum torque of 113 Nm@4500 rpm. The engine has 6 on-board computers that control everything precisely from fuel to ignition timing. The mileage is 17.94 kmpl.

The diesel engine is a 1.3 Diesel Direct Injection System (DDiS) which churns out a power of 73.9 bhp@4000 rpm and a maximum torque of 190 Nm@2000 rpm. This has bagged the international engine of the year. It also features a healthy combination of Turbocharger and intercooler and is highly fuel efficient due to the Double Over Head Camshaft (DOHC). It meets BS IV emission norms with improved mileage and superb performance. The diesel distributes through Common Rail Direct Injection. The mileage is 22.9 Kmpl (ARAI tested).

 


Chevrolet Beat

Chevrolet Beat is a sporty hatchback from General Motor global mini-vehicle architecture, available in 10 main variants: 1.2 PS, 1.2 LS, 1.2 LT,LT OPT(both in Petrol and Diesel), 1.2 LS LPG and 1.2 LT LPG. The Petrol, Diesel and LPG variants are powered by 82 bhp, 57 bhp and 79 bhp engine respectively. Ample features like 60/40 split seats, integrated music system, internally adjustable ORVMs, integrated central control panel and dash, etc. Safety is ensured by the 4 star NCAP and safety cage.

Hyundai New i10

The new Hyundai Next Gen i10 comes with improved engines that enhance fuel mileage. It comes with 18 variants. The engine options in Hyundai Next Gen i10 include 1.1 iRDE2 and 1.2 litre Kappa2. The Next Gen i10 is available with manual transmission gearbox as standard, and automatic as an option. It features MacPherson Strut with spring coil in the front and coupled torsion beam at the rear and superb air conditioning system that keeps the car cool at all times . Safety features in the new i10 include dual front airbags, ABS, reverse parking sensors, seatbelt warning systems and more.

All the variants boast of dual tone beige interiors. The ample dimensions of Hyundai i10 - 3565 *1595*1550mm (L*W*H) with the wheelbase of 2380 mm gives it the additional stability and added cabin space. Hyundai i20

The i20 is the latest addition to the Hyundai i-series line-up. The premium hatchback comes with stylish design and a host of luxurious features. Available petrol and diesel variants in 6 main versions- Era, Magna, Asta, Asta (O), Sportz and Sportz (O). The engine choices for petrol variants are 99 bhp 1.4-litre engine and 79 bhp 1.2-litre Kappa engine. The diesel variants has 1.4-litre 16V DOHC CRDi engine that generates 89 bhp. Available transmissions are 5 speed manual, 6 speed Manual and 4 speed automatic. Safety features like ABS with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD), front dual airbags, front seat belt pretensioners, central locking, and engine immobilizer.

Hyundai i20 is available in both petrol and diesel option with different variants. Hyundai i20 is the first hatchback car in the Indian auto market which is packed with 6 Speed Manual Transmission Gearbox in its 1.4 L CRDI engine that delivers an impressive power of 90 PS whereas in 1.2 L Kappa engine packed 5 Speed Manual Transmission gearbox produces a power of 80 PS and in 1.4 L Gamma engine 4 Speed automatic transmission gearbox offers a power of 100 PS. Hyundai EON

The new Hyundai Eon competes features the best of design and engine that will enhance fuel mileage.The new Hyundai compact comes in one engine option available across twelve variants. Hyundai Eon features an 814 CC engine that pumps out 55.2 bhp of raw power. The Hyundai Eon is available with a 5 speed manual transmission gearbox. Safety features in the Eon include driver side front airbag, reinforced structure, keyless entry and central locking and more.

Hyundai India has unveiled the much-awaited small car ‘Eon’. It has nothing to do with the Hyundai Santro and i10. This car has been in talks from last year and it was codenamed as HA H800. Hyundai Eon will also be launched in other countries across the Globe. As expected, Hyundai India has priced Eon very competitively at Rs. 2,69,000 only for the base model (D-Lite) and Rs. 3,71,000 only for the top-of-the-line model (Sportz). These prices are ex-showroom New Delhi. Hyundai India has been able to price Eon so competitively because it has been developed in-house, will be manufactured only in India and will be exported to other countries like India is the manufacturing hub for i10, Santro and i20. The all-new Hyundai small car has been positioned below Santro and will compete with the likes of base model of Chevrolet Spark and top model of Maruti Alto. Eon sports 814cc 3 cylinder petrol engine which generates maximum power of around 55 Bhp and maximum torque of 76.5 Nm. The fully loaded variant of Eon (Sportz) features power steering, front power windows, air conditioner, driver side airbag, body coloured bumpers, music system with 4 speakers, USB port, aux-in and remote levers for fuel lid plus tail gate. 

 


Nissan Micra

The Micra has been developed on the new V (versatile) Nissan platform keeping the Indian consumers needs in mind and is yet a global car. Available variants are: XE, XE Plus, XL, XV (Petrol and Diesel) and XV Premium. While the 1.2 DOHC 12-valve, 3-cylinder in-line petrol engine pumps out a max output of 75 bhp at 6000 rpm and max torque of 104 Nm at 4000 rpm, the 1.5 SOHC 4-cylinder 16 valve in-line diesel generates a max power of 63.1 bhp at 4000 rpm and a max torque of 159.8 Nm at 2000 rpm. The engine comes with a 5-speed manual transmission that makes the car easy to drive and control.

Ford Figo

The compact hatchback from Ford will appeal to the Indian car lovers. Available in both diesel and petrol engine variants. A 1.2L DuraTec petrol engine that has a maximum torque of 102nm @ 4000 rpm and a 1.4l Duratorq diesel engine that has a torque of 160nm @ 2000rpm. 5 speed manual transmission that provides stability and stability control. Figo scores well in the functional features like Airconditioner with Heating, Front Power Windows, Driver Seat Adjust, a Bluetooth Phone Interface and more.

Ford unveiled its new small car 'Figo' in September, 2009 to compete with the likes of Maruti Ritz, Hyundai i20, Honda Jazz & Skoda Fabia. The company has managed to sell it it very good numbers and Figo is now one of the best selling cars in India. Ford India has upgraged the ZXi and Titanium variants of Figo. The ZXi now features tilt steering and USB port integrated in the music system. In addition to these two features, the Titanium variant will now come with factory-fitted alloy wheels. The price of these variants has also increased; the ZXi variant is now dearer by 6000 rupees and Titanium's price has increased by 17000 rupees. It is expected that with addition of these features Ford India would be able to attract more buyers. A new variant EXi (O) has also been introduced in both petrol and diesel. It comes with factory fitted music system and price is Rs. 14000 more than the EXi variant.
